Microneedling & Nano Needling

AKA Collagen Induction Therapy. Trained and Certified by Herbal Skin Solutions

What is dermaplaning?

A non-invasive treatment that exfoliates and resurfaces the skin with the added benefit of the gentle removal of fine hair. This treatment will also increase the rate of absorption of the products, remove build up of sebum and tired skin cells, and promote new cell production. It is most used by clients with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, and/or fine lines and wrinkles.

This relaxing treatment also includes an antioxidant infused papaya enzyme for gentle resurfacing, extra exfoliation and completed with a hydrating masque blended with a restorative serum and pure vitamin C, leaving the skin soft, supple, and even-toned. This treatment is finished with a PH balancing hydrating moisturizer.

*One week prior treatment, please limit sun exposure and postpone Retinol and Glycolic Acid usage
**Minimum 6 months post Accutane treatment along with doctor authorization required

How often can I dermaplane?
I recommend every 28 days if you wish to maintain results. New cells regenerate every 28 days so this process helps your skin do what it already does naturally but at a faster rate. If you over dermaplane it can cause tightening and dryness of the skin.

Does the process hurt?

No, your eyes will be closed throughout the process. You may even relax enough to fall asleep.

Will my hair grow back darker, longer, thicker?

No. This is merely an old wives' tale. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair (peach fuzz) it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment.

Are there any contraindications to dermaplaning?

Yes. If you have an allergy to nickle, numerous raised lesions on the skin and inflamed acne you should not have this done.
