Skin Mint is a small owned business and does not have a receptionist on staff. If you have attempted to connect via phone, we encourage you to leave a message in order that we may promptly respond in between appointments. If you schedule something online or via phone, text or email, we will always be there for your scheduled appointment. If you stop in and our door is closed, it is likely all of our scheduled appointments have been completed and we have closed shop for the day. Please feel free to give us a call/text at 715-301-5070 for any inquiries or scheduling needs.
We understand that events happen that may force you to cancel or reschedule. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
12-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows us the opportunity to schedule someone else for this time slot. If you are unable to provide 12 hours advance notice, you will be charged a $10 service fee, as we may have turned away other appointments or opportunities while honoring your scheduled appointment. If you miss your appointment entirely with no notice, there is a 50% deposit required toward the total cost of your preferred service. This deposit must be paid prior to your next visit.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session you booked. For example: If your appointment is for a 60 minute facial commencing at 3 pm, and you arrive at 3:10 pm, then require time to complete the Facial Intake Form, your facial will still finish at 4 pm as scheduled. Out of respect and consideration to your technician and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time. If you arrive 15 minutes late, Skin Mint reserves the right to consider this a no-show and will take appropriate measures to give this time to another client or opportunity.
If you book a session and plan to use a gift certificate, but do not show up for your session, your gift certificate will be considered redeemed.

What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site or place an order. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
